TOMATO AND EGG

I very often look through different blogs on the internet to inspire myself and get ideas for interesting and tasty dishes. This time I poured olive oil in the pan and fired shaped tomatoes for few minutes with pinch of garlic, salt, pepper and dill. When the tomatoes were hot I have place one egg. As I did not take any photos this time by myself I searched on the internet and I found one! The above photo is linked from a polish website KWESTIA SMAKU. You will find there really good recipes if you want. I all certainly make this breakfast dish again and share my photos as well.

CARDIO WATCH WITH OPTICAL SENSOR

Today a link to the explanation how the new cardio watch from TOM TOM works.
Here a quote:

"The TomTom Runner Cardio measures your heart rate differently to the way a chest strap sensor does. Instead employing a type of electrocardiography to measure your heart physically beating, the Runner Cardio uses an optical sensor that’s mounted in the rear of the watch.

Accompanying that sensor are two very bright LEDs, which shine through the surface of the skin. The sensor then measures any changes in skin colour, since skin tone changes ever so slightly when your blood pumps through it. By tracking those changes in skin tone, the Runner Cardio can calculate your heart rate."

I am still using my GARMIN watch but a strapless solution seems to be quite convenient - the question is only how good it really works ...

There are so many products on the market including various apps that it is worth to read a little bit before you decide to buy one.

GOOD COMBINATION

Since some time I made myself for working times at the desk a jar of water with lemon.

One advise from my side especially if you do not have a BIO LEMON: peel the skin. Use a lemon without the skin.

BREAKFAST IDEA

A very fast breakfast idea. I needed in total 5min to get this done. Swirl 2 eggs, pour in the hot pan, place cheese, fold after about 2 minutes into half, keep warm in the pan for about another 2 minutes in this time prepare a coffee and your perfect after run breakfast is ready.

ADDICTION

As you know I started running and after three weeks I am spotting first addiction symptoms :) I mean when I miss running for 3 days my thoughts are playing around the words: "GO and RUN". It is very very hard to sit at the desk.

REGULARITY

This applies to me today. I cannot wait it up till I finish my work and I will go jogging in the evening. Remember to move regular and not to make too big gaps between the activities. One or two days for regeneration are very fine but not longer.

REPEAT WEEK 3

I already wrote about listening to your own body - I am going to repeat training week number 3. I feel I am not ready yet to run the schedule of week number four.

GRILL

I grilled the chicken breast and zucchini in the oven. You may do it on a real grill. The zucchini was very juicy and crunchy. Grilling time in total about 15min - depends however on the thickness and temperature that your grill achieves.

NOT SO LAZY SUNDAY

Finally the weather got good. Well, not really a lazy Sunday, as I got up at 7am to do at 7h30 some nordic walking with a friend. We enjoyed the walk a lot. From the place where we walk we had a great view on the Alps panorama. We did 5 km nordic walking. Keep on moving!



LIKE THE CAULIFLOWER

I know some hate cauliflower, I also did not like it too much - especially because of the very specific smell when cooking. With this recipe however I even managed to convince few men to cook it. Minimum smell maximum taste. Boil it shortly in the water just that it gets a little bit soft and then bake it in the oven with butter and herbs. This way the taste does not get away into the water and the cauliflower stays nice and crunchy. Enjoy!

RAINY RUN

Today it is here very stormy. The morning was too hot to run. Around midday we had a big thunder storm. As soon as it stopped raining I went for a jog. 
As usual according to my plan (1 min walk + 3 min jog)x4 = 16 min
