CRAZY ME


second run on the same day ...
Do you do it often? Do you manage to run twice a day?
I am simply feeling like running and thought why shall I stop if my body tells me to run?
The same plan (1 min walk + 3 min jog) x4
DONE! GO AND MOVE AS WELL!
If your body tells you to take a day rest - do it! If it tells you to run - do it! Listen to your best master - your body!

DREAM CREAM

Today a very tasty alternative to all kinds of puddings and creams.
Freshly made, tasty cream all you need is a blender or mixer, 1 banana, 1 avocado, juice out of half a lemon, half a cup of milk or water, 2 teaspoons of cacao powder. Mix all and serve as you like.
Here a proposal for breakfast with 1 spoon of oats and a self made dressing of red currant. For dressing take any kind of raw or precooked fruit :)

MY PLAN - FIRST CONCLUSIONS

It is already third week of my training for beginners and time to draw some conclusions for the past two weeks.

WEEK NUMBER ONE:
running in this manner made a lot of fun. I enjoyed it a lot and run usually longer then planned 15 minutes. And extended the first week to two weeks - I followed the plan from the first week for two weeks time.

WEEK NUMBER TWO:
well it was fun as well, I even went running in a light rain. Once in the sunshine it was quite hard. I guess I run simply too fast as usually I have made in 15minutes over 2,4 km taking into account 1 minute walking rather slow and then running 2 minutes.

WEEK NUMBER THREE:
tomorrow will be my first training :) Keep your fingers crossed.

DRINK WATER


This time an idea how to make drinking water attractive.
Prepare yourself any kind of self made flavored water - as in the poster above or any other kind.

ATTENTION


This poster is on purpose in white :) You have to pay attention, concentrate to read it. When thinking about sport and achievements we very often concentrate on what we can't or don't. I cannot run a 10km race yet - so what ..... concentrate, pay attention to what you can! You can run 1km - great! With every next step you make more. Pay attention to what you can. Do not waste your attention - it is limited! Think about what is worth your attention.

You will find many plans that work well - all of them work under one very important condition: REGULARITY. This word is a key to success. Remember when you search for a plan for yourself: you will only stick to it if you like it, choose not a very ambitious plan but the one that encourages you to run.

- should be 15min, I made 22min as I stopped to take a photo :) and run 2,67km.

MY PLAN

Here I would like to present to you my plan to run. I think it is very important to follow a plan and at the beginning not not over challenge. Only if running makes you feel week and happy, you will continue it for longer and go running on regular basis. Running will become such an activity as taking a shower - a routine. 

My plan originates from a polish website which in translation is called a runner training, the original address is treningbiegacza.pl. Have a look if you like.

I have chosen on purpose a very easy plan for beginning to keep myself motivated and to continue running. To have a feeling of being eager to run and not to make my body feel overused, exhausted at the beginning.

I mark in which running week I am and how I proceed and how many times I did run in a week. For me minimum that I have set for myself is 3 trainings a week. I try to run every other day or at least every third day.

In the following days I will share with you my impressions how each week is going on.

PLAN TO RUN

I used to run just for fun without any plan. This did not work for me as at the beginning I saw progress but after a while it was very hard to motivate myself to go out and get moving. Following a plan makes me feel much better, I know what I have done and how far I am.

RR = RAIN RUN

It stopped raining heavily. Yes it is still raining but the weather is rather warm. I decided nevertheless to go outside and have a short run. Did another point from my running plan. I made 2,3km in 15min.
Seems not much but every step forward counts :) Have a nice evening!




TRAIN ON RAINY DAY

Today the weather is not really good. Since midday it rains pretty heavily. I do not mind running in a light rain but in such rain as today I would get totally wet after three minutes outside. Anyway a bad weather is not a good excuse not to do anything. Search on web for any kind of an exercise that you can do at home in your living room.

I admit I did not manage to follow 100%.
But I did at least 90% and I am happy and feel good again :)

Do not wait for good weather, there are always possibilities to train.

ADVICES for BEGINNERS


Yesterday I posted a comment that I am a beginner looking for any tips how to get on well with running on one of the running forums. Here is the link to the running community if you would like to read more.

I find the advices I received as very wise. Thank you! Therefore I am saving these here as a reminder for myself and maybe some of you.

I was always a big fan of high heels. Since I go regulary jogging surprisingly my every day style changed. Even on business trips I enjoy wearing sport shoes when on a journey and store my high heels in the suitcase.

WEEKEND SUMMARY


Weekend was very busy for me. Firstly I went to the market to sell old stuff gathered upon years in the flat. So the day began pretty early at 5am. In the afternoon we went to visit our friends living in Regensburg. A very good decision was to take the foldable bikes with us. This way the visit made double fun and we were able to move fast without necessity to rely on public transport. In total we made in one day 26km on bike and went for a walk of 10km. Was very nice to pay visit to this beautiful city again.

CARDIO WATCH

Sometimes I use a cardio watch for my runs. I must admit that wearing a chest belt was not annoying but I did not especially like the belt itself and putting it on. Aa I run also on my business trip days, it very often happened to me that I took my watch but forgot the belt at home. Also as I like keeping my things compact the weight of the belt in my luggage was annoying. 

I just read about a new solution coming from TOM TOM without a belt. As you may see above on the photo the system is one piece solution. I can't wait to read more about it and to find out how it works, I was until now a big fun of GARMIN products but now I would like some time to try this solution.

DIET - NEW WAY OF UNDERSTANDING


How do you think about diet? I usually thought about diet as an extraordinary condition - not allowing myself to eat some things. To skip bread and some treats was very hard. I kept on few days and then experienced almost always big hunger and gave up.

Now my way of thinking is changing and I quite begin to enjoy it. I ask myself if the things that I prepare to eat or buy do follow my goal. This way makes it very easy and I start to be happy on what is on my plate. This supports me to go on, to continue and right now I am one week without bread and feeling great!

What did you do today? I went to jog - as I am not really an advanced jogger I made training (1min walk + 1min jog) x10. 20 minutes outside made me feel good. No excuses! Go outside train to gain this great feeling!

I decided to use one logo for my blog. I like it a lot, you too?

REWARD SMART

Reward yourself but bake the cake by yourself. Cherish it and reduce the amount of sugar and fat in the standard recipe. Most recipes still work! I usually reduce sugar and fat to 1/4 of what I find in the recipe. I find that then even the cakes taste better especially the ones with fruit.

It is already very late here. I just logged in shortly to make some blog adjustments.
